With over 25 years of leadership experience across the retail, creative, hospitality, and technology sectors, Alan has spent his career navigating growth, complexity and change.

As a founder and operator, he spent 11 years building and scaling a technology business, while also carrying the realities that come with it, from commercial pressure to leadership strain, financial risk, and the challenge of holding everything together when the stakes are high.

Those experiences shaped the foundations of Founders’ Compass. The work is grounded in the belief that founders need more than strategy alone: they need a trusted space to think clearly, reconnect with themselves, and lead in a way that is ambitious, honest and sustainable.

Alongside coaching, Alan works through NewtonSquared as an advisor to founders and growing businesses. He holds an MBA and a Certificate in Global Leadership, and brings a practical blend of strategic, commercial and operational perspectives to every coaching relationship.

His mission is to empower founders and leaders to scale their businesses sustainably, avoid burnout, and thrive in their personal and professional lives.
